Maxine “Faye” Brown Harris, 95, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014.

She was born July 11, 1919, in Melcher, Iowa, the daughter of James F. and Mary Marie (McBroom) Brown. She was a 1936 graduate of Westport High School, in Kansas City.

Faye retired from Consumer Credit Corp. after a number of years. She was also the Lead Activity Organizer for the Saturday Nighters in Prairie Village, KS; member of the Pilot's Club; and worked in the dry cleaning industry for a number of years.

Faye married Wilbur Harris in 1940, they later divorced. She married Joseph Drasko in 1953. They were divorced.

Survivors include a daughter, Diana (Harris) Jarvis; son, Regan Drasko; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Ayers Harris.

Faye was cremated. Inurnment of the cremated remains will be in Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Wanamaker Woods Church Children's Program, 3501 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66614.
