Ronald Eugene Lewis, 77, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away December 17, 2013 at his home. He was born at Belleville, Kansas to Orrin Eddie and Ruby (Lemon) Lewis on August 20, 1936. He graduated from Belleville High School in 1955.

He made the military his career serving in both the Army and the Air Force, retiring at the rank of TSgt. He also worked security for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas. Ronald was an avid collector of Smith & Wesson items and was a member of the Smith & Wesson Collectors Association.

He married Barbara Cornwell on July 8, 1968 at Hebron, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Richard E. Lewis,Melinda S. Lewis and Sean K.; 2 grandchildren; and his brother, Richard A. Lewis. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marion.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ronald was cremated.
