Travis Lee Huggins died March 15, 2017. Travis was born in Topeka on April 3, 1976, the son of Jim and Evelyn (Lang) Huggins. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1994 and attended Washburn University. He loved loud music and fast cars. Travis lived life in the fast lane!

Survivors include his children: Brice Huggins, Damien Huggins, Zyte Huggins, Maren Peterson, all of Topeka and Haleigh Peterson of Lawrence; his mother, Evelyn Huggins of Topeka; his brother Garrett (Dawn) Huggins and nephew Gunnar Lewis all of Topeka; his birth mother Vickie Zeit Diveley of Severance, Kansas; ex-wife Becki Davis of Topeka; and his grandmother Janice Zeit of Denton, Kansas.

Travis was preceded in death by his father Jim Huggins, his grandfathers Dick Zeit and Elmer Lang and his grandmother Muriel Huggins

At Travis’ request, he was a transplant donor. Travis had a kind heart and he greatly loved his children.

A memorial service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Topeka, KS, on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at noon prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huggins children’s education fund in care of US Bank.
