In Memory Of
Jerod Daniel Lister
1980 - 2016

Jerod Daniel Lister, 35, of Topeka, our beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew departed on his greatest adventure to date on October 10, 2016. His family and a few special friends were there to wish him peace and safe travels. His final destination will be the coastline off of Monterey, California, the place of his birth.

Jerod never met a stranger on the many prior adventures of his lifetime. He had a special gift for helping others which led to him serving children with special needs. From attending college at Kansas University, to Indy wrestling in Atlanta, to Tampa, Florida where he wrestled in the developmental league for professional wrestling, he always made friends wherever he went. His very social nature made him a natural for the service industry, and he supplemented his income on these travels as a bartender. Upon settling back in Kansas, he again worked serving children with special needs.

Per Jerod’s wishes, no service or visitation will be held. Instead, Jerod would love to have his friends, wherever they are, lift a glass and toast his 36th birthday on October 18th, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be sent in Jerod’s name to the Topeka Public Schools Foundation, P.O. Box 5883 Topeka, Kansas 66605.
