Maxine Slipsager Delforge, 95, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016.

She was born in Clyde, KS, on September 13, 1920, to James and Bertha (Anderson) Slipsager.

On October 19, 1941, she married David Woodrow Delforge. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1989. Together they owned and operated Fluffy Fresh Donut Shop on SE 29th Street for 16 years. Maxine also had a long career as a Luzier Cosmetic Consultant from 1946 until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Virgil Slipsager; and sister, Margie Bednasek.

Maxine is survived by nephews, James Slipsager of Oklahoma City, Steve (Janet) Bednasek of Springfield, OH, and Gary (Rebecca) Bednasek of Mountain Brook, AL; and nieces, Sherri (Dale) Hinrichs of Cincinnati, OH, and Elaine (Jerome) Chamblin of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Graveside services and interment of cremains will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka.
