Daniel John Kelly, 78, of Sabetha died Monday, July 18, 2016, at his home.

Daniel was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 26, 1938, to Henry and Gladiola (Hartley) Kelly. He was raised in California and Arkansas, and graduated from Lancaster High in Lancaster, Calif. After graduation, he worked for Lockheed Martin for 10 plus years. Daniel moved to the Midwest and was united in marriage to Alvina Streit on July 8, 1978. She survives of the home.

He owned Kelly’s Appliances and Radio Shack. After retirement, he worked for Nemaha County Training Center (NCTC) in Sabetha. His hobbies included Hamm Radio, RC airplanes, motorcycling and cars.

Survivors include his children Debbie (Jesse) Tatum, Daniel Jr. (Teresa) Kelly, Bobby Kelly, Rodney (Kristin) Boltz and Roxanne Werner; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anita Kelly, and Gladiola Kelly; brother Steven Kelly; and sister Judy White.

Daniel will be cremated. Graveside services will be held in celebration of his life at 11 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2016, at the Albany Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to NCTC of Sabetha.
