Randy J. Dinger, 54, of Topeka, passed away at Stormont Vail Medical Center on June 2, 2016. He had previously lived in Hays, Lawrence and Parsons, Kansas before moving to Topeka.

He was born in Topeka on April 23, 1962 to Freida Dinger. He worked for TARC Industries and enjoyed his work very much. He was an organ donor and was able to help two other people. He enjoyed attending church, collecting and watching DVDs, drawing and coloring, riding his bike when he was able, going to Barnes & Noble, and especially shopping at pawn shops and thrift stores. He was an avid KU fan. He saved pop cans for recycling and money and was very active in the community.

He is survived by his close friend Kevan Pfeifer, his guardian, Sara Ditch, his foster parents, Melvin and Beverly Wedermeyer, his case manager, David Hodges, Compassionate Care Community Services and TARC Industries staff, along with numerous other friends. He made friends easily and was well liked.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 9:00AM on July 8, 2016 at Mt. Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel. Please remember Randy by wearing the “KU crimson and KU blue”…Beak ‘em Hawks!

Memorial donations may be made to TARC Industries, 1800 SW 42nd Street, Topeka, KS 66609
