Brad L. Berg, 61, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

He was born October 14, 1954, in Chanute, Kansas, the son of Ralph and Helen (Hardesty) Berg. He was a graduate of Chanute High School and Indiana University.

Brad had worked for Prudential Financial Services in Topeka until his retirement. He was a member of Elks Lodge 403 and Friends of the Topeka Zoo.

Brad married Terrie A. Babcock on August 10, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives. Other survivors include daughters, Jessica (Mike) Crossman and Rachael Berg; brothers, Dale (Cheri) Berg and Greg Berg; grandchildren, Katelyn Crossman and Chase Crossman; and 15 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the family farm near 11180 SW Georgia Road, Colony, Kansas. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and fishing poles. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Topeka Zoo or Silverbackks.
