Carolyn K. Moore, 74, of Topeka, passed away on April 24, 2016 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

She was born July 1, 1941 in Mayetta, the daughter of John and Rowena Moore.

She was a 1959 graduate of Fairview High School. After high school she was married and raised four children. She then entered the work force, working for Wright & McGill making fishing rods. She then went to work for Monfort Beef Processing in Greeley, Colo. and finished her working life at Kodak Film in the X-Ray film division in Windsor, Colo.

In retirement she moved to Topeka and enjoyed running parts for her son at Hoyt's Truck Center.

Her passions in life were quilting, sewing, gardening and cooking, but attending her grandchildren's events were her favorite by far.

Survivors include three daughters; Christine Busch (Chuck) of Ft. Collins, Colo., Dawn Moore of Topeka, Misty Miller (Jason) of Ft. Collins, Colo.; one son, Hoyt Moore (Laurie) of Topeka; one brother, Larry Moore (Wanda) Buena Vista, Colo; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 4020 SW. 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606.
