Pat was employed by the Menninger Foundation for many years as an art and activity therapist. After Menninger’s she worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for S.A.R.P. in Topeka for several years.
Pat married Eugene Keever on June 13, 1957 in Salina, KS. He survives. Pat is also survived by her daughter, Stephanie Weiter (Kurt); sons, Craig Keever and Tony Keever; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Stidham and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Wooster and a sister, JoAnne Sundgren.
Pat was a very talented artist and singer. One of her favorite works is the mural on display at the Hanover Pancake House in downtown Topeka. She loved art, music, helping others and most of all, her family.
Pat was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 21st at the Mausoleum Chapel at Mount Hope Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, KS 66604 and the Topeka Art Guild, 5331 SW 22nd Place, Topeka, KS 66614.
