Barb Langham, 76, of Topeka, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2015. She was born in Pensacola, Florida on December 3, 1938 to Grover and Jeanette (Cruit) Dasinger. She grew up in Panama City, Florida. She graduated from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Nebraska and attended Bellevue College. Barb moved from San Bernardino, California to Topeka in 1995.

Barb married Jerome “Jerry” Langham at Pascagoula, Mississippi on January 8, 1955. When her children were grown, Barb joined the work force in the mortgage banking industry. She worked for three different regional mortgage banking companies as she moved up from loan officer to branch office manager. She retired in 1992.

Barb was a member of Western Hills Baptist Church in Topeka. She had a passion for her family, Bible studies, ministering to women and reading.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Jerome; her children: Deborah Taye (Getty) of Rochester, NY, and Gary Langham (Debby) of Minneapolis, MN; Five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jerry and her sister Glenda.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on April 20, 2015 at Brewster Place Health Center, 1001 SW 29th St. Topeka, KS 66611.
