Robert R. Cook, 87, of Topeka, passed away April 2, 2015. He was born to Elijah "Lige" and Ruth (Romerary) Cook on December 17, 1927. He was raised in the Topeka and Kansas City area.

He married Marcelene "Marcie" Cook on May 31, 1957 in Topeka. Robert served in the US Air Force and the US Marines attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant in both. He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier and was a member of Central Park Christian Church. His hobbies included woodworking and hiking in the mountains.

Robert is survived by his son Kent (Jean) Cook; granddaughters: Kristin (Quinn) Finlay and Lynn Cook; and his grandson Quinton (Stacy) Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marcie.

A memorial service was held April 6, 2015. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Park Christian Church, 1535 SW Clay, Topeka, KS 66604
