Gary Lewis White, 58, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018.

He was born March 4, 1959, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Louis and Evelyn (Fritton) White.

Gary attended Highland Park High School and in 1976, he entered into the United States Navy where he served on the USS Juneau. After returning home, he worked at Hallmark Cards for 23 years. He later became a card dealer at Harrah’s and Sac & Fox Casino until 2015.

In 1984, Gary married Sandra Wells. They later divorced. In 2001, he married Tina Oliver. They also divorced.

He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports and loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He had a very active social life and loved spending time with his friends.

Survivors include children, Lyjah (Jason) Heddy and Timothy (Ashley) White; step-daughter, Michelle Manrose; grandchildren, Treylen, Ryleigh, Jayce, Brooke, Avery, Kolten, and Sage; and sister, Rita Stovall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Joyce and Vicki.

Gary was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018, at The Landing Bar & Grill, 2920 SE Croco Road, Topeka, Kansas 66605.
