Steven Glenn McKinley, 70, of Topeka, passed away from cancer on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

He was born June 1, 1947, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Glenn and Pauline (Armstrong) McKinley.

He was a 1966 graduate of Topeka West High School and 1971 graduate of Kansas State University.

Steve worked for Kansas Wildlife and Parks, Topeka Zoological Park, and 28 years as a science teacher in USD 501.

Survivors include children, Bryan Michael Cusick McKinley, and Stephanie Lynn McKinley Chabloz; and brother, Gregg (Susan) McKinley.

A memorial visitation will be from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
