She married Paul D. Crispin and they raised their family in Topeka.
Jeanette worked at St. Francis Hospital and after her children were grown, she worked as a traveling nurse in several states as well as overseas before her retirement.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and macramé.
Jeanette is survived by her sons: Paul Crispin of Topeka and John Crispin or Pensacola, FL; her daughter, Linda Davidson of Ocean Springs, MS; five grandchildren: Justin, Brandon, Sterling, Emily and Renee; seven great-grandchildren: Kyile, Lilith, David, Kelli, Kaylee, Blake and Jaxon; one brother, Bill Reed and one sister, Linda Young. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Reed, Jr. and Ina Belle Johnston and her infant son, Roderick Crispin.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. January 19, 2018 at Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel. Visitation will be held following the service.
