Dorothy D. Roe, 79, of Wakefield, KS, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at her home in Wakefield, KS. Cremation has taken place. No memorial service is planned at this time.

Dorothy was born December 21, 1937, in Bronx, New York.

Dorothy graduated New York University with her BSN. She worked as a nurse in New York for some time.

She married Steven Roe December 9, 1968, in New York.

Survivors include her husband Steven of Wakefield, KS; two sons, Bill Baker of Godfrey, IL, and his wife Mary and Kenneth Baker of Clay Center, KS; and one grandson, William Baker of Alton, IL, and his wife Danielle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Daniel and Walter; one daughter, Leeann Baker.

Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, of Junction City, is handling arrangements.
