Arma “Jean” LeBeau, 85, Topeka, passed away November 29, 2017.

She was born June 22, 1932, in Leslie, Arkansas, the daughter of Joe Dickens and Velma Marie (Horton) Thornsberry.

On June 14, 1947, in Russellville, Arkansas, she married Gene Wyatt Adams. He preceded her in death. On April 17, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas, she married Lattie Clinton Jackson. They later divorced. On June 5, 1978, in Miami, Oklahoma, she married Edward LeBeau. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2016.

Survivors include daughter, Linda (Troy) Hickman; grandchildren, Doris Jean Carlson, Rae Ann Carlson-Hubbard, and Clinton Rae Carlson, all of Topeka; three sisters, Frances Louise Hoppis, Marcia “JoElla” Mullenax, and Marlene Gaye Lane; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family in Arkansas and California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Doris Jean Jackson; and brother, Richard Lee Thornsberry.

Jean was cremated. Private inurnment will be at a later date in Olive Hill Cemetery in Holton.
