Brenda Sue Smith, 60, of Junction City, passed away on November 4, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Wichita, KS. A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday November 18, from 10:30am to 12:00pm at Gross Towing, 912 E. 7th St., Junction City, KS. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service of Junction City, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.

Brenda was born June 28, 1957, in Sparta Wisconsin, to Harland and Carol (Westrick) Lofthus. She was a lifetime resident of Junction City, KS. She graduated Junction City High School and went on to work in several places around town. She started working for Gross Towing in the early 1990’s. Brenda worked as a dispatcher and office manager for over 20 years until her passing.

Brenda was a dedicated mother and wife. She was also a loving friend to all she met. She was a hard worker. Brenda was known to be a work-a-holic. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her free time.

Brenda is survived by host of loving family and friends.
