A Gathering will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 10:00 am. to 11:00 am. at St. Xavier Catholic Church, 218 North Washington St, Junction City, KS with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Henry Baxa officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Memorials are suggested to the Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 (in the note section please write "In Memory of William Orth").
He was born on September 26, 1928, Wichita, Kansas to Gerhart and Margaret (Kraus) Orth. He married Ruth Maxwell, and they were married for 64 years. They lived in Junction City, Kansas.
William is survived by his Four Sons, Charles (Darlene) Orth of Larned, KS, James Orth of Junction City, KS, Robert (Carol) Orth of Shawnee, KS, William (Carol) Orth Jr. of Hudson, FL; One Daughter, Kathleen (Irv) Velez of Goose Creek, SC; One Sister, Darlene (Joe) Boley; and a host of loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Ruth M. Orth, and Parents, Gerhart and Margaret Orth.
Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, of Junction City, is handling arrangements.
