Jerry L. Davis, 68, of Herington, passed away on July 17, 2017 at Herington Municipal Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the American Legion Post #12, 501 Sun Lane, Herington Lake, KS with Pastor Gary Schrader officiating.

He was born on July 23, 1948, Hope, Kansas to Melvin and Ethel (Belt) Davis.

Jerry was a kind and strong soul who loved his family as much as he loved his cars and music, an avid collector of antiques.He always had the best stories from his life experiences. Jerry was a free spirit and lived his life the way he wanted......he lived!

Jerry is survived by his longtime companion Eva of Herington, KS, his daughter, Jennifer Hughes and Rob Mowat of Galva, KS; Step-Daughter, Rhonda Nava of Rockport, TX; Two Sons, Greg Caldwell of Salina, KS, Ronnie (Michelle) Spaulding of Wichita, KS; three sisters, Judy Scott, Cheryl Ogle and Cynthia Tribble, twelve grandchildren, Jason Caldwell, Alexus Little, Kaitlyn Spaulding, Clayton Hughes, Nick Kinser, Samantha (Stephen Solis) Nava, Sydney (Anthony Pena) Nava, Taylor Nava, Mason Moon, Tobias Rath, Dakota Rath and Chenoa Rath and nine great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Ronnie Davis and Wayne Davis; his sisters, Nancy Armstrong and Luann Pollock; step-son, Robert Rath, granddaughter, Ashlie Caldwell.
