Gary Lee Braden, 61, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, as a result of a cardiac event.
He was born May 18, 1955, in Topeka, Kansas, to Bert and Pauline Braden.
He is survived by his father, Bert; step-daughter, Danell Wright (Seth); and grandchildren, Amelia, Luke, and Rosella. He also leaves behind his brother, Carl Braden (late wife, Yuvon) of Carbondale; sister, Chris Smith (Ralph) of Wichita; and sister, Cindy Peters (Steve) of Paxico. He had many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and life-long friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline.
Gary was most happy when spending time with his grandchildren, family, and when he was helping others. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Penwell-Gabel Reception Center, 1940 NW Central Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66608.
