Arthur G. Lindstrom, 71, Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Arthur was born March 7, 1946 in Clay Center, the son of Floyd and Anna (Geiger) Lindstrom. He graduated from Topeka Lutheran School in 1960. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1964 and attended Washburn University. He served in the Kansas Army National Guard for six years. He was a former member of Grace Episcopal Cathedral and St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Arthur was a man of many hats who genuinely enjoyed working with people. He was an entrepreneur who owned the Lighthouse Tavern in the 1970s and a floor covering business in Topeka. He was a realtor in Topeka and Panama City, FL. Later in life he followed his passion for carpentry and cabinet making.

He loved the beach, sailing, skydiving, traveling, cars, and most of all his family. He was an avid fan of KU basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Cheryl Lindstrom, children, Kent Lindstrom, St. Louis, MO
Elizabeth (Daniel Benson) Ross, Topeka, Sarah Boast, Topeka, Kirsten (Milind) Khire, Matthews, NC, and Ben (Danielle) Bowden, McKinney, TX, and grandchildren Madison, Everett, Lily, Owen, Phoebe, Blake, Brett, Samuel, Zachary, Max, Wheeler, Allison, Tallulah, and Veda.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel one hour prior to service. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Topeka Lutheran School and ECAN for esophageal cancer research.
